Our 5 and 7 year old kids participated in the Multi-sport Holiday Camp and absolutely loved it! They played a range of sports including tennis, golf, soccer as well as other fun activities. The kids thought the teachers and coaches were very friendly and knowledgeable! Highly recommend and will be doing next holidays :)
Recently booked these courts for court hire to have a social hit with my work colleagues.
Extremely disappointed with the condition of the courts we had been assigned to. They did not seem to be maintained, and the hard courts had cracks in them and seemed unsafe to play on.
Considering these courts were at a premium price its safe to say we expected better quality. The sport of tennis deserves better.
WILL NOT BE RETURNING.
Beautiful place to hang out with friends or have a picnic. Lots of open fresh space.
It's a pretty convenient location, with plenty public transport options and some parking. There are good showering and bathroom facilities, and plenty of benches for resting etc.
The synthetic grass courts vary in conditions; some have a few bumps from the tree roots, and quite a bit of debris from the dropped leaves, sticks and Moreton bay figs. It can be a bit dangerous, but there are sweepers around to clear if needed.
The parking situation is absolutely horrendous during competition time. Cars are parked against the gate closest to Moore Park Rd which blocks half the driving lane and makes it impossible to park in the actual marked spaces. There should at least be signs indicating no parking along the gate so that cars can safely pass through or park without scratching other cars. They seriously need to fix this!
Make sure it doesn't rain before booking or they will not reschedule. I was forced to play under light rain according to them. Grass was very slippery and injury risk high so we stopped playing. I was told that I was not going to get credit for another day because the coaches were still on the court. I seriously question what was driving the coaches to keep coaching little kids under the rain ...
EDITED: Contacted by e-mail as suggested in the comment below and nothing was even tried to be solved. It seems more like a response to make look as they care about customer service. In practice, they do not.
We are a group of international people that loves to practice sports and have a healthy and friendly life.
Today Monday at 3:30 pm we showed up at the football field to play (very good location and decent facilities. We did not book. At 3:45 pm a very nice lady came by kindly asking us to pay for the field hire fee, for which we agreed and paid without hesitation.
What started as a great experience turned out not to be. Unfortunately and without no one notifying us, 10 minutes after paying the couch of a kids team requested us to leave because his team had booked too and always plays Mondays at 4pm.
Confused, suddenly the manager (Ben Fisher) shows up with vulgar manners pushing us to get out as the kids had booked. We paid 10 min before!!, and that is the reason we did not understand him approaching us in such a rude way. He honestly treats us in a way that I have never seen in my whole life.
This is not the first time I encounter this "gentleman" and his attitude towards people and incompetency is always very similar, which is inconceivable for handling the role of management and customer success at the venue.
We paid for the services; they commit an error of double booking and treat us like "dogs": threatening us with calling the police; saying we were trespassing and so forth.
If there is something I cannot stand in life are situations of inequality and unfairness.
I’m pretty convinced no lawsuit will succeed, but who wants to be threatened? Who wants to hire a lawyer for that? It’s not worth it.
At least I hope you investigate the incident and remedy the situation, so
that no more customers suffer this invidious treatment.
Yours sincerely,
Christian Villalón.
Centennial park is too good. A big landscaping park. Too nice ambiance and lots of good standard path ways for walking and doing exercises. A nice park and work visiting it every day
